HMP – HFR NUT
NYLON INSERT
ISO 10511

THE PRINCIPLE

LOW HEXAGONAL SELF-LOCKING NUT WITH NON-METALLINC INSERT

The self-locking principle of the HMP (ISO 10511) nut is to crimp a nylon ring located on the upper part. During the assembly, the ring is deformed by the thread of the screw and creates an imprint in the ring. This imprint compressing the thread of the screw makes it possible to create a constant braking torque (called self-locking).

Temperature resistance of the standard nylon ring : -40°C à +120°C
Temperature resistance of the brown nylon ring : -40°C à +230°C
